Does anyone know where the stone for Great Stone Barn was quarried? I am helping with stonework maintenance at Church Of Our Saviour (Episcopal) in New Lebanon, NY – dedicated 1881. The land for this church was donated by the Shakers. We believe the church’s building stone looks a lot like that in G.S.B. (Great Stone Barn). We think it was quarried at same place as that for GSB.
